Shirley Boone, Board Member

Shirley Boone is an international speaker, author and the Founder of We Win Ministries, a non-profit organization under IRS section 501(c)(3) that empowers women in need. She was the igniter of Mercy Corps, an international relief organization that has appropriated $1.3 billion in humanitarian aid to alleviate suffering, oppression and poverty in some of the world’s toughest places. Mercy Corps is a team of 3700 professionals helping turn crisis into opportunity for millions around the world. By trade, the Mercy Corps team includes engineers, financial analysts, drivers, community organizers, project managers, public health experts, administrators, social entrepreneurs and logisticians. In spirit, they are activists, optimists, innovators and proud partners of the people they serve.

Shirley serves as a member of the Executive Board of the King’s League of Women, King’s College and Seminary, Los Angeles, California which is a group of dynamic women who use their influence to advance the ongoing purposes of God. She is also a member of the Board of Directors of Ryan’s Reach Foundation, Coto de Caza, California, an organization providing support to victims of traumatic brain injuries such as suffered by her grandson Ryan. Ryan’s Reach is committed to expanding the programs, services and outreach of High Hopes Neurological Recovery Group to more effectively address the financial, emotional, physical and spiritual needs of Traumatic Brain Injury victims and their families.

She is the wife of Pat Boone, the mother of four daughters and 15 grandchildren. She entertained internationally with the Boone Family for 7 years and recorded 2 albums with her husband Pat. Shirley is a champion of the family through the Boone Center for the Family at Pepperdine University, Malibu, California. Shirley currently resides in Beverly Hills, California
