Stan Sowunmi Mukoro
Style mentor Stan S. Mukoro created MUKORO|BESPOKE, an image consulting and concierge wardrobe service built on the guiding principle that style begins with fit. Taking a highly personal and customized approach to his service, Stan assists his urbane clientele in finding their own personal style. He helps them find that perfect fit to match their personality, work and lifestyle, working hard behind the scenes to make sure that for his clients the ongoing process of maintaining one’s image and appearance always looks and feels effortlessly elegant. His mission is to align outer appearance with inner substance.
Recognized as a “Man of Style” by Saks Fifth Avenue in 2010 and Neiman Marcus in 2004, Stan is setting a new standard in fashion and men’s style. He is co-chair of the National Black Arts Festival’s 2010 Fine Art + Fashion and has also served as a NAACP board member.
Before founding MUKORO|BESPOKE, Stan broke barriers in management roles at Mercedes-Benz USA and BMW USA. He resides in Atlanta, but travels frequently to the world’s fashion centers - staying current on the trends to better serve his clientele and his readers as contributing writer for Modern Luxury’s The Atlantan and contributing style editor for Vanguard Media’s ALLURE, a West African publication.
