Robert S. "Bob" Poydasheff, Registered Agent
Robert S. Poydasheff was born in1930, and is a former mayor of Columbus,
Georgia. He served as mayor of Columbus from 2003 through 2006, having
previously served on Columbus city council from 1994 through 2002. He served
with distinction in the United States Army for 24 years, retiring at the rank of
Colonel. He earned a B.A. in political science from The Citadel in 1954, a J.D.
from Tulane University Law School, an M.A. in international relations from
Boston University's Graduate Program in Berlin, Germany, and attended the Hague
Academy of International Law in the Netherlands.
He is a former Chairman of the Civilian-Military Council; Past President of the
Chattahoochee Valley Association of the United States Army; Past President of
the Columbus Symphony; Founding Member of the Columbus Young Lawyers Club; 32nd
Degree Mason and Shriners; Kiwanis Club member; a member of the Chamber of
Commerce as well as many others. He also received the Infantry Order of St.
Maurice in 1999.
He is married to the former Anastasia Catherine Latton, and has two children.
Their daughter Catherine Ross and son Robert S. Poydasheff, Jr., live in
Columbus.
